SELMATRAC outcome and impact measurement establishes what a programme actually changed for the people it serves. Evaluations are built around the programme theory of change and the questions its funders, staff and participants need answered.

Each evaluation begins with an inception phase and evaluation matrix, followed by mixed methods data collection through surveys, interviews and focus group discussions. Quantitative and qualitative findings are triangulated, then presented in a report and a learning session. The STEEP project endline evaluation is one example of this work.
Outcome measurement tracks the immediate changes a programme produces, while impact measurement assesses the longer term difference the programme made overall.
The STEEP project endline evaluation, listed on the SELMATRAC projects page, shows a full mixed methods evaluation from design through to reporting.
